Seaside Springs Retirement Community

We visited the Seaside Springs Retirement Community. It's a very clean facility. We were able to have a Sunday brunch there. It was very good food. They have physical rehabilitation. They have exercise facilities. They have outdoor areas where you can just go out and get some sunshine and walk around. They have parking areas for residents if they're driving. They also offer transportation usually within a ten-mile radius of the facility. If you want to use that for doctor's appointments, salons, or for your shopping, that's fine. All these facilities seem to have the same programs. I thought Seaside Springs was unique in that the size of the facility and the units that they have are the same around the country, wherever they're located and it's the same construction pattern. The tour director was very good and spoke very highly of the place. His mother lives there, so apparently, she's very happy. The room size was fine. They did not have a full kitchen. It had a nice refrigerator. They had a microwave, but no stove. The dining area was very good.

Seaside Springs Retirement Community is a down-to-earth community, it is a happy place. They prepare good food and the staff members are wonderful. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to others.

It's absolutely wonderful here and like living on a cruise ship or being in an expensive hotel. Three meals a day are included, plus apartment cleaning weekly. We have a nice library, gym with exercise classes twice a week, a pool with exercise classes four days a week, a pool table, Happy Hour on Fridays with live entertainment and free wine and beer. Our Activity Director won a community-wide award for her fun classes in the gym, pool, and Happy Hour. She has a great personality and helps anyone who needs help. Another perk - there are 52 RLC communities in the US, and we are welcome to stay at all of them free for five days as if we lived there with all meals furnished, etc.

The place is independent living—clean and friendly staff. There is a gym, mini store, game room, movie theater, and activities. Group exercises in the gym. The rooms are spacious—great decoration in all areas.

My parents moved here in September 2022. So far 5 stars!!! GREAT staff, exciting environment, fun activities, and best of all good food!!!! Hurricane Ian came to the area and the staff made my parents feel secure, and the communication was excellent. Being out of state, I was worried sick. But even the Osprey fire department chose to be at Seaside Springs during such an event because of the sound structure of the place. I am planning to reserve a spot here for when I turn 55!!! My parents have no complaints and enjoy it here very much!!

We went to Seaside Springs Retirement Community. I would say that it's very good. I like Scott, the manager. I like the way he toured us. I like the apartments. I like his attention to what maybe my sister's needs might be in the future. It's a beautiful place. It's like brand new. The pricing was good. The amenities that they offer were good. I thought it was an exceptional facility. They offer three meals a day. They're only independent living, but you can bring extra help in, I think. What I like, too, is that they have managers that actually live on the premises, which is nice. If you need any assistance, you can bring that care in. I don't know if that will totally meet my sister's needs, but if you're talking about facilities and you want independent living, I think it's very nice. It's excellent.

My parents are moving here in the next few weeks! So far seems amazing! I am so relieved finally a place with freedom eating! All 3 meals included! And the activities look so fun!

Seaside Springs Retirement Community is satisfactory. What I like the most about this place is the camaraderie. My apartment is quite pleasant. I have my own patio. The food they serve is ample. The dining area is also very pleasant. The activities are just enough to keep you busy every day, all week. You can go to the swimming pool or out to the walking area. They just take care of all of our needs.

I am very impressed with Seaside Springs. Everyone is so kind and helpful… that’s staff and residents. There are so many activities to suit everyone’s likes and the facility is top-notch. I’m happy for loved ones living there.

I'm at Seaside Springs Retirement Community. It's very nice and it's brand new, so it's not full, but it's got three meals a day and all kinds of services for us. It's close to Sarasota, so it's in a good location. It's close to Venice. I like it a lot.

Love being here. The people are friendly and the food is great. The people who work here do everything they can to make us happy 😃

My mother is early eighties and just loves her new place, it’s got everything a d she feels welcome and safe here It’s close to all kinds of shopping - this part of rt 41 is much less congested than Venice and I’m so happy for her!

My husband and I are early 80's and just want to acquaint ourselves with what the next step in life may be. Scott Stewart, of Seaside Springs, was an animated, knowledgeable, empathetic leader for guiding us through different types of retirement possibilities as compared to a large well-established center in Venice. There, although we met the criteria for entrance there on more than one level, we were treated with cold indifference when we ask for some info and had no regard for our feelings. It's an all-encompassing decision at a time in our lives when there may be health issues to further complicate the moment. We felt a genuine feeling of caring from Scott and Patti. Thank You!
